Oh great another field trip to granville island Writers Fest tmrw, but at least we get to see kenneth oppel... whoever the heck he is XD
Today we had a presentation at school from this Jeremy guy that lives in Ottawa I think. He talked about his life, which dealed with a lot of homophobic people, who called him names, beat him up. He talked about how he was called "nigger" many times
He talked about how he and another guy fell in love and were holding hands and his mom came into the room and ran off screaming
He was a really great guy, who has been through a lot in his high school years. Hes still pretty young now
It was a great presentation, I FEEL TOUCHED BY IT :D
